Mark's Ironman Challenge

On the 5th July 2009 Mark's going to Austria to compete in an Ironman triathlon race. Ironman Austria consists of a 3.8km swim (2.4 miles), a 180km cycle (112 miles) followed by a marathon run! Is he mad? Do you think he can do it? With your support I'm positive he can.

Mark's going to be raising much needed money for LATCH. LATCH is a voluntary organisation set up to support the special requirements of the children's oncology centre the Children's Hospital for Wales to help affected families and promote research in childhood cancer. The needs of the children change constantly with new treatment techniques and new equipment being made available, so help me to help the children with cancer and leukaemia obtain the best facilities available.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: LATCH Children's Cancer Charity gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation. See www.justgiving.com/markwhittle for more information.Thank you for your much needed support.
